You are a good teacher!

This way of teaching is nearly perfect – interesting and effective. The best feature of your method is that “slice of life” example, which schools can’t provide. That’s why people, who live with foreigners, learn language faster, than those who use books.
This is the future of education. So, i would rather watch your lessons than attend english lections in my univercity. But the result will be better with practise, which means that watching is not enough.
Best regards from Russia.

I really like the idea. It’s a pity the video is choppy.
January 14th, 2009 at 1:29 pm
Youre incredibly awesome, youre better than any of the teachers in my country, Theyre bad at stating grammatical English.
January 14th, 2009 at 1:45 pm
Did you get a response to this? (Sorry!)
This structure is used to express what we want someone else to do, but it’s more a wish than a request. Example:
I’d rather you you didn’t go.
= I don’t want you to go. It’s my wish.
January 16th, 2009 at 11:54 pm
I plan to make a video about this very soon.
January 18th, 2009 at 9:41 am
Basically, yes, they’re the same, but “Would you prefer…” is a polite way to offer a choice.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:23 am
Would you prefer to play chessl or a game of cards?
(You don’t have to repeat “to play”.)
- Sorry for the long delay!
